PTS shall promote and participate in the exchange of cultural activities with ethno-cultural groups.

Mission

PTS shall promote activities for the advancement in Tamil language, literature and arts, by teaching the Tamil language, promoting Tamil discussions, music, dance and drama.

Welcome to Preston Tamil Sangam!

The Organisation shall be non-sectarian and non-political in membership.  Membership shall be open to all members of PTS.

The Organisation will be guided by the following objectives:

  • PTS shall be a non-profit, non-religious and non-political organisation.
  • PTS shall provide a common meeting ground for its members.
  • PTS shall promote and participate in the exchange of cultural activities with ethno-cultural groups.
  • PTS shall promote activities for the advancement in Tamil language, literature and arts, by teaching the Tamil language, promoting Tamil discussions, music, dance and drama.
  • PTS shall encourage humanitarian activities with specific emphasis on Tamil speaking populations.
  • PTS should not be merged with any other association or group.
